Impressive Pessac Leognan. Smooth tannins, slight smokey aromas, and smooth deep berry flavors. It’s a food wine, like with a nice fillet. — 4 months ago
We loved this wine. Smooth and the flavor pairs with anything. — 8 months ago
2019 vintage. Château La Fleur Cailleau, Canon-Fronsac. Bought in 1982 by Paul Barré (also Château La Garde, Fronsac) and managed these days by his son Gabriel and his wife Edith. Biodynamically farmed since 1990. Very impressive indeed, with an exemplary purity of fruit, ripe tannin and energetic acidity. Highly recommended. Abv. 14,5%. — 2 years ago
Enjoyed on Friday night in Palo Alto with Daniel & our home made ancient grain pizza with artichoke bruschetta adparagus leeks & brusell sprouts — 5 months ago
Star of a two Bandol night, but this at age 14( minus a week or two). Deeper, plush, black violet & cassis nose; on palate tannins really nicely integrated, wild blackberries, more cassis & black currants. Crazy elegant and generous. Feels open. Distant notes of some kind of bark & forest floor. Older wild flowers.Eye opener, in sense of how far Bandol can go for me. — 10 months ago
So good. Better than last year in my opinion. White peach, cherry, fruity but dry. — 4 months ago

Love the perfume in the glass after you let it sit a bit. Very fruit forward but somewhat darker cherry than you would expect. Really love this Pinot! — 8 months ago
