A plum & blackberry. Then a vanilla, licorice and coffee. Value for money - spectacular. π· β 10 months ago
Needs air at this young age but quickly hits its stride. Really fragrant, with zesty, ripe berries, spice, a yeasty, fresh bread note, and mineral-flecked turned gravel. Loads of upfront fruit, but in a dry package with zingy acids. Slight bitter note complements the fruit. So pure tasting and food flexible. Textbook. β 2 years ago
Good value in an aged wine. Licorice, charred banana and cherry. β 7 months ago
Well balanced red with our Easter lamb dinner. β 2 years ago
Oh wow, this is #valpolicellaripasso is lovely, bolt of cassis, bramble fruit and just this really faint undertone of peppery spice. Though this is Ripasso itβs very lithe on the palate - not weighty at all, fleshy acidity and that subtle peppery spice on the finish. This bottle will disappear fast, with or without a meal pairing. #corvina β 8 months ago
Minimal alcohol on the nose, great legs, wonderful mouthfeel. Drier then expected. β 2 years ago
