Langhe State of the Nation. Crushed dark cherry, chocolate, mint, lemon verbena, and saddle leather. Sour and tart with murky old eyes. — 2 years ago
Truly a great value at $30. This Amarone is at the end of its life and is starting to turn brown, but it still delivered lovely bitter Amarone flavor. Deep dark fruit and chocolate. — 7 months ago
Light bubbles, but not too much. Semi-sweet at first taste, but smooths out once aired to pair with cheese and chocolate. — 2 years ago

Very dry. Minerals or earthy something, ripe lemon. Too dry. — 8 months ago

Fresh, red fruited, spicy and cedar-y on the nose. The body brings fine-grained tannins and that alluring combo of dried fruits: cranberry, strawberry, and raspberry marinating in the fresh tart juice of said fruits. All is overlayed with black tea and just a hint of bell pepper. Good gosh, it is exactly what I love about Ripasso: richness lurks, but freshness prevails. — 7 months ago
