The 2023 Chardonnay soars from the glass with striking aromatics. Hints of apricot, lemon peel, white flowers and crushed rocks follow. Effortless and gracious, this blend of sites yields a Chardonnay of notable complexity, while a touch of Hungarian oak adds an attractive spicy character. $22.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, August 2024) — a month ago
Big, rich flavors, almost meaty, finish goes on — a month ago
Deep red. Smooth. Dark cherry, currants, blackberry, cinnamon, love this . . . had with cheese fondue followed by dark chocolate fondue - paired very well with both. Will definitely look for this at my local wine shops. — a month ago
Beautiful wine! Restrained and delightful, with fruit, freshness, acidity, low alcohol and a round mouthfeel. You’ll like this one! — a month ago

The 2022 Syrah Colson Canyon Vineyard is such a unique wine. Bright floral aromatics and lively acids make a strong opening statement. Pomegranate, blood orange, raspberry jam, slate, crushed rocks and clean mineral notes all drive through this heady, explosive Syrah. This is a magical wine from Joey Tensley. Wow this is a great example of Santa Barbara Chardonnay. Some wood in the nose next to moderate tones of tropical fruit. In the mouth it has a slight salty tone. Paired beautifully with 60 months old Parmezan cheese. — 13 days ago
