Really smooth! Bought at grant park market. — 8 months ago
Maison Leroy’s entry-level white, 100% Chardonnay sourced from different vineyards in Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Savigny-lès-Beaune. Subtle, aromatic nose with white fruits, citrus, floral notes and hints of vanilla. Fresh, mineral, great texture. No ordinary Buegundy — a year ago
2013 vintage. Pretty much identical to @Shay A's beyond excellent notes on this wine from 03.31.23. This was from an infuriatingly custom 5L bottle tho. Super-youthful. From this format? An easy 15-20 years of life. From a standard 750ml format? 12-15 years of great drinking. Right in line with Central Coast red Rhône blend/varietals usual ABV%. That is, to say, not exactly bashful. 12.06.24. — 21 days ago
So much cassis, black currant and rich sweetness. Very atypical for a Margaret River Cabernet - this is more Barossa or McLaren Vale. Less herbaceous than is usual for Margaret River in this warm vintage. A rich medium to full bodied palate with excellent concentration and smooth persistent tannins. My 2nd of 6 and a vintage that will last well beyond 2025 as one well known expert predicted. Should have the next bottle in 2 to 3 years time. 91% Cabernet Sauvignon; 4% Petit Verdot; 4% Cabernet Franc; 1% Merlot. — 10 months ago
Took 3 hours and was unforgiving when initially opened but then at 3 hours it was heavenly. Just classy beyond belief and a pillow on your palate with incredible fruit. Elite finesse and had that X factor. It was better than an 08 Roumier Les Cras that I had a sip of. I think I’d wait 2-3 more years on these or decant for 3 hours. — 2 years ago

Reddish in color with light intensity.
Nice and elegant nose of red fruits with chocolate notes.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with cherries, red currants, earth, light wood, spices and coffee.
Medium plus on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young, 4 year old Barolo, is already drinking nicely, even by itself.
Well balanced and elegant.
This 2020 vintage was great for Barolo, and is very approachable right now. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years and beyond.
I've had the 2015 vintage a few years ago, and this vintage is drinking better. Complex with a soft mouthfeel.
Good right out of the bottle and better with some airtime. A good sipping wine, and will pair nicely with food too.
A blend from three different Nebbiolo Vineyards in Serralunga d'Alba. Aged in large oak barrels for 2 years.
14% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

I’ve been fortunate to have tried a few vintages of Scarecrow, but have never had the opportunity to sit down and simply enjoy a bottle from start to finish. I acquired this 2012 with that exact intention (and also to share with my father-in-law, who is the reason I have a passion for wine).
A hallmark for Scarecrow (in my opinion) is a weightless gravitas. How Celia can craft a Cabernet that is consistently so elegant and supremely balanced is beyond me. 2012, being an excellent Napa vintage, and entering its 10yr age had me thinking this would be pop and pour…wrong! Lots of youthful exuberance here. More red/black than purple in the glass. Slightly high toned dark-berry fruits, currant, floral notes (violets) and graphite. The entry and mid-palate again have this gorgeous weight…added notes of dark cocoa and espresso, but mostly a balanced core of dark fruits. The finish sports quite a grip (even after two hours), but it sure was fun to still taste the wine almost 30 seconds later! Decant 2hrs if opening now, or hold for another 5-7yrs to enjoy this type of profile. — 3 years ago

Better on its own and still needs lots of time. Hold another 5-8 years and beyond. — 2 days ago
