Hard to believe this was the lightweight last night. I’m blessed you took me under your wing Wally. You made me a better man, husband, friend, and business man. — 4 days ago

Chateau Bekaa Valley Red Blend 2012

Vintage 2012 | drinking well now, amazingly much fruit, cherries. I expected more tertiary tones. Seven years ago stubborness and tannic. — 2 months ago

Bekaa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2019

Verticals tasting 2019/2013/10/07/2004. At London Wine Fair. 2004 still had fruit and tannins so beautifully smooth. The 2019 was drinkable now but it would be a shame not to age it a few more years. Very surprised at the longevity. — 13 days ago

Château Musar

Gaston Hochar Grand Cru Red Blend

2001 Musar is a great way to start to an amazing week. A delicate blend of Cabernet Savignon, Cinsault and Carignan aged in oak for over a year. At its peak from my cellar - 23 years later it's showing notes of dried cherries, cassis, prunes, some leathery vanilla oakyness. The complexity is off the charts and I'm getting aromas of smokey Tennessee tobacco barn and cherry bramble which is a combo I never imagined I would want so bad. The structure is light and balanced. Silky smooth acidity and fine tannins which is a hallmark of this exquisite wine. — a month ago

Château Musar

Musar Jeune Cinsault Syrah

What a wonderful wine. Great tension between the fruit and tannins. And delicious. Really wonderful. It does benefit from decanting, and a few more years would be fine. But this would be a great burger wine, or barbecue, or any red meat: this wine is really a great food wine—and a lot of juice for the money, as they say. — 2 months ago

Le Colombier Beqaa Valley Cinsault Blend 2015

Very light shade of red, mix of red fruits with what seems to mostly be raspberries, does not taste like a %14.5 alcohol volume, light tannings but well built for 2018 wine, very smooth and easy to drink — 3 months ago
