Gaia Principe Barbaresco Nebbiolo

Modest Nebbiolo nose but impressive palate. Juicy and very chewable with ripe and balanced tannines. Sligro keeps on offering an outstanding qpr on this one! — 7 months ago

Gaia (Gaia's Estate)

Agiorgitiko Red Dry Wine 2005

Medium deep ruby garnet core and garnet rim. Sweet plummy fruit , touch of spice and vanilla , violets . On the palate round and ripe with plum , damson , dark cherry and black tea hints . Balanced acidity , quite rounded tannins , touch of warmth on the anis tinged finish . This is firmly in its drinking window and shows it can stay at this level for a while longer , now and over the next 5 years. — 2 months ago

Thalassitis Santorini Assyrtiko

Really nice, a lot like a Sauvignon Blanc but just a tad sweeter. Worked well with salmon pasta and grilled shrimp. — 5 months ago

Gaia (Gaia's Estate)

Nemea Agiorgitiko 2017

High elevation Nemea Agiorgitiko. Dark ruby/black color. Aromas and flavors of ripe dark cherries, cooked plums and spicy oak. Touch of vanilla on the very long finish. Very rich, plush and well structured. Nicely balanced with Medium-plus body. The bottle age has softened the tannins nicely. Solid. — 10 months ago
