Vega Sicilia started purchasing Toro vineyards in 1997 but didn’t release Pintia until ‘01. 100% Tinta de Toro, thick-skinned clone of Tempranillo, beautiful color, complex aromas of fruit & floral spice. Aged, 18 months, French & American oak, 15% stainless due to very dry year. On the palate pronounced fresh dark berry fruit flavors, smoky oak notes, well balanced with acidity. Complex big tannins, full body, long finish ending with elegant fruit & touch of earthy tones. Nice! Needs time! — 24 days ago

Always find myself enjoying Godello when I have it - need to seek it out more. This one is on the more giving side, with lots of lemony fruitiness. Incredible crunchy acid texture. Definitely mouth puckering (in a good way) and with a lingering finish that has that jolly rancher quality. — 25 days ago
