This wine is dark garnet in the glass. Aromas of blackberry, plum, and cassis grace the nose, along with some oak spice. The palate has plenty of dark fruit, a savory edge, and very firm tannins. It pairs nicely with any kind of beef, especially a steak with lots of fat. I also tried it with a spicy pasta dish, but I found that the tannins fought with the spice a little too much. Beef that has been salted and peppered is the better choice. — 5 months ago
Little stinky on the nose. Bramble fruit. Structure saves it. $8.25 G — 3 years ago
Light golden color. Aromas of tropical fruits, white flowers and citrus. Flavors of pineapple, lemon/lime, peaches, melon, kiwi and minerals. Fruit forward and bright finish. Zesty acidity and very fresh tasting. Light bodied, crisp and refreshing. Thanks for the sample, Chris B! — 2 months ago
