On the Lawn at Tanglewood this evening with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, without orchestra or conductor 😉. Three humble souls playing an all BEETHOVEN program (Piano Trio No. 3 in C minor (Opus 1, No. 3) and Symphony No. 2 in D (Opus 36, arr. for piano trio by Beethoven)) with a few of the best players of instruments containing strings, Yo-Yo Ma (cello), Leonidas Kavakos (violin) and Emanuel Ax (piano). A fairly interesting Juxtapositioning of the C-D-P, and the Menorah, burning the Third night lights.
A touch of that classic decomposing stink, amd wild berry.
3 hours open, the fruit is dark, and mingled with tabac, anise, black, oil cured olives. Tannin and acid walk hand in hand splendidly, one, never overspeaking the other.

On one of those “oh, shit it’s Mother’s Day” kind of days when you want to open something truely quaffable, after the perfunctory bottle of Moët, this is under appreciated. Best left for when you need to: a) impress on your first date with a supermodel b) convince Johnson that you are the man for the big Clarkson account c) apologise for forgetting your significant others birthday, or d) take a sling at Bourgeois depression

A new experience for us tonight. A 34 year old C-D-P to celebrate our 36 year anniversary. Beautiful old red/orange color from the glass. Dried fruit and herbs, licorice and wet flint on the nose. Flavors of dried red plums and cherries, licorice , herbs and some earthiness. Still showing a slight tannic backbone. A nice long finish. — 7 years ago

Cacao, dark cherry, smidgeon of menthol, cedar wrapped red fruit leather,
The wine is heavy handed and starts off with high alcohol, it needs time to blow off in order to get a good nose.

No estaba seguro si acompañar con un blanco mis spaghettis al pesto o pedir un tinto bien especiado, opte por lo segundo y me ofrecieron este Memoro de Piccini vino elaborado con 4 uvas diferentes de diferentes partes de Italia, Merlot, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Nero d´Avola, 12 meses en barrica me gusto de color rojo profundo, notas especiadas, hierbas frescas, higos, persistencia larga, temperatura de servicio 16° C, buen acompañamiento, lo recomiendo, saludos
