Starderi Barbaresco DOCG Nebbiolo 2019

Very nice barbaresco. Haven’t had this producer before. Quite accessible at this age. Pretty classic Nebbiolo color and profile. Seamless with nice fruit and earth and leather. Good acid and a long finish. Great pairing with a steak and veal sorrentina at campagnola. Enjoyed quite a bit!

Probably would have been higher with a decant, but so it goes.

Always a pleasure. Quite typical. A bit more forward in 2018, but still balanced and delicious. Nice wine with a variety of veal dishes at good old Campagnola. — 2 years ago

Aromas of raspberry, tomato leaf, cherry, spice.
Dry. Flavors of cherry, raspberry, cinnamon, clove, peppercorn, tomato leaf, subtle leather/earth, cocoa on finish. Medium-rich, velvety tannins.
