This is a wine that fits perfect on a hot summer day sitting outside enjoying the weather. Incredibly crisp and fresh, with the perfect amount of acidity. Pale in color, with great minerality. Very very good and would drink again — 9 months ago
Medium straw gold color. Bright aromas of citrus, tropical and stone fruits along with hints of wet stones and fresh herbs. Flavors of lemon, peach and pineapple fruit with additional notes of flint, almonds, dried apricots, white pepper and those fresh herbs. Noticeable minerality on the long and crisp finish. Medium bodied with a slight creamy texture. No sign of oak aging. Elegant, yet quite earthy and versatile. — 5 months ago

Floral element and perfume smell. Did during the tasting. — 9 months ago
This wine most certainly over deliveries. Needed to have ordered a case #opentuesdaywines . — 8 months ago
An interesting history of the Greco di Tufo grape which I won’t detail here (has its own DOCG) - a late ripening Campanian white grape. This wine had a luscious full bodied mid palate - apricots - with a refreshing acid cut. Next night a fruit salad of flavours including mandarin and guava. A great white wine as the weather cools down. — 10 months ago

2021 vintage.
Sangiovese 60 % and Cabernet Sauvignon 40 % from Pitigliano estate in Maremma, Tuscany with a southwest exposure.
Owned by Tommasi family since 1997.
Rompicolla is ‘breakneck’ but means tremendously steep and slippery slope…a risky adventure.
Soils are deep in volcanic tuff.
Stainless steel ferment and matured 1 year in 65 HL Slavonian oak casks.
Red cherries, raspberries, savoury spice, and floral.
Medium bodied but fresh and clean on the finish.
This wine loves food ….and I appreciate that. — a month ago
