Delightful wine enjoyed with meat and cheese in the early evening. Strong flavor that I love. — a year ago
Crisp, hint of yeasty-ness, high acidity cutting through. Very champagne/franciacorta — 2 years ago
Ruby rust, with ripe red fruit, raisins and cherries, well balanced and smooth. Mature. Easily the best Chianti I’ve had. Impressive! — 8 months ago
Excellent with pasta. I’m not a huge Italian wine person but this was great. — 2 years ago
Torr och fruktig, bra till mat — 2 years ago
Made a quick, good swap from the initial wine which I’ve had twice and hated both times.
PnP’d this wine. Dark red color. Stewed cherries, raisins, and decent sweetness on both the nose and palate. Medium plus depth.
The 1975 Feuerheerd Colheita Port was the star of the dinner @ $20 a glass. Totally insane!!! — 2 months ago
Fantastic Chardonnay bubbly from Longoria region of NW Italy. A brief sweet start and dry clean finish. — 9 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of three hours. The 2015 pours a beautiful garnet color with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and some tart red fruits: Morello cherry, raspberry, blood orange, black tea, red flowers, licorice, leather, exotic spices, and dry stony earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and savory. This needed about an hour in the decanter before it really began to strut its stuff but when it did, holy smokes, it was out of this world. A brilliant wine and a beautiful expression of Sangiovese and Montalcino. What a lovely treat. Drink now through 2045. — 7 days ago
