Dinar casa Martí. Vi blanc Itàlia per aperitiu , curiós, diferent i amb un punt dolçet. Molt bo — a year ago
Pale Ruby with a lighter tawny rim. Possibly the lightest bodied Barolo I’ve ever tried. Herbs, Pine needles, red fruits (cherry) and menthol on the nose. The palate, even though light to medium bodied has medium plus intensity - very savoury. Nice fruit citrus profile but NOT “grapefruitey” with a bit of a bubbly action!

Well … it’s always a treat to drink something so old. Yet, a bit musty (as in lacking energy yet with just a hint of the other - beautiful ‘must’) and very peppery. Still … interesting and enjoyable. — 2 years ago
Drank as 2nd bottle with Ryan and Elissa. Wonderful meal. — 5 months ago

This 16 year old Barolo is drinking very nicely now, but still so young.
Very dry on the palate with red fruits, earth, wood, spices, peppercorn, chocolates, tobacco, coffee, earth, wet leaves and herbs.
Elegant and robust.
Showing mild complexity and will continue to age nicely in the 15 years.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

Light for a Barolo. Lots of earthiness, mushrooms and forest. Light color and finish. There are better Barolos available. — 2 months ago
