Light, spicy, Juicy and smooth: A simple joy can be as satisfying as any complex piece of art, if made on point. Try this easy going Cabernet Franc and try to proove me wrong! — 8 months ago

Luxurious red blend with fruit forward cherry, currant and vanilla. Finish not as complex as my favorite Napa Cabs or blends. Enjoyable. — 9 months ago
Delicious, dark berries and earthy flavors — 3 years ago
Medium purple in color; black cherries, plums, and dried herbs on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like violets, pomegranates, and wet slate with a long finish. I like it and Nellie does too. — 2 months ago
As good as the last time we had it here.. — 7 months ago
2016 vintage. You can't go wrong with the Domaines Martin wines these days, and they have made some of their best wines in this excellent vintage ( Gloria 2016 might well be the best ever!). This Cabernet Sauvignon dominated Haut-Médoc features a deep dark red colour, and a nose with cassis, cedar and dark chocolate. In the mouth it shows impeccable balance with the juicy black fruit balanced by fresh acidity and well-tamed tannin. Terrific value too. — a year ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of one week. Consistently enjoyable throughout but it seemed to be at its very best around Day 3 through Day 7 (when I enjoyed the last pour). The 2010 pours, a deep garnet color with a near opaque core and showing some slight rim variation; medium+ viscosity and moderate staining of the tears with some sign of sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with tart and ripe notes of cassis, plums, tobacco, Fresno chilis, purple flowers, dry leaves, organic earth and faint baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The fruit is a touch more tart on the palate and there is also a sort of dry leather note that I didn’t get on the nose. The finish is medium+. A mesmerizing, dense wine that certainly has a very long road ahead. Great stuff. Drink now with patience through 2050 (assuming good cellar conditions). — a month ago
