Touch of sweetness relative to the extra bruts we were drinking alongside. Good pop to it. — a year ago

Château Brane-Cantenac

Baron de Brane Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2009

Opened too early. How anyone enjoyed this previous to 2020 is beyond me. 3rd day wine but chose Wagyu Fillet Mignon instead of another cut so my bad. Definitely a 3 day wine or 10 more years — 2 years ago

That a second wine is this tight seems weird. Lot of press wine?

Great Champagne! Brioche and lemon with some raisin. Better on the warmer side. Love low dosage. With friends on a Saturday night — 2 months ago

Jordan Vineyard & Winery

Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

When I’m not drinking a Napa Cab, I reach for a Jordon. Blend of 80% Cab Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot & 2% Malbec, aged 13 months in 100% French oak (35% new). Deep Ruby with aromas of red fruit, floral and an array of herb spices. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and fig with oak, vanilla spice, leather and cacao notes. Rich fine tannins, well balanced and integrated with fruit and oak. Very Nice! Will age well. Just had this with a fillet mignon, Nice! — 9 months ago

Cliff Lede Vineyards

Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of rich berry fruit, floral and slight spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and blueberry with floral spice, warm integrated vanilla oak and earthy cinnamon. Fine soft tannins, long finish ending with fruit, spice, vanilla oak and soft earthy notes, nice now, will still develop. A nice fillet mignon with Cabernet gravy will go well. — a year ago
