Beautifully made blend of 80% Merlot, 15% Cab Franc, and 5% Malbec. Complex nose consisting of dark fruit, toasted nuts, and wet leaves. No florals.
Boisenberry and blueberry, earth, graphite, olives, leading to polished tannins on the finish. Very good now, will be perfected in 5 years.

Paleo Rosso is one of the symbols of Bolgheri , and “Paleo” is the common name of a species of grass, which grows wild along the Tuscan Coast; best-known Cab Francs. Deep Ruby with aromas fruit, dried herbs and spice for this 100% Cab Franc. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with leather, cacao and herbs. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Nice, tasting sample. — 5 years ago
Smooth and dry with nice finish. Hints of cherry. — 6 months ago
Getting ahead with some research off to Saumur/Loire Vallée, this little Saumur Champigny punches above it's weight, up there with mid level burgundy, climate change has done well for Cab Francs, Pinot Noir from Loire Vallée. Well structured, light but with a bit of depth, berries galore, bio organic too! — a year ago

vintage 2022 | Finally! Le Puy has been on my bucketlist for years. Icon of nature wines. Winemaking with little or non interventions. Right bank Bordeaux. It is a wonderful wine, 22 is drinking fine now. Cassis, leather, clove and laurel. Warmth. Fine structure. It made my dinner with steak frites. At restaurant Amsterdam in Amsterdam. — a month ago
