Freshness that must be hiding some sweet side
It is a chase
Pretty fleshy and low alcohol
It keeps going
I think I could drink a barrel...opppssss....it has never got into a barrel
Well, I will drink it from the tap!!
Searing minerality
Maybe not yet very complex, but so enjoyable ❤️ — 9 years ago
Super dark and at first glance would look to be acidic, but very smooth for a Granache. Slight tannic kick, more like a gentle tap. Tobacco and dark fruit: plum, fig and dark cherry. But a bottle now! — 9 years ago
Barrel aged saison in white wine barrels on tap at mikkeller SF. Fantastic beer. Rich creamy mouthfeel with amazing malt, but a great tartness and funk to balance it out. For a beer with so much going on (dry hopped, saison, white wine barrels) it is insanely well balanced. Perfect Christmas time beer. — 10 years ago
2013 Peter Michael Ma Danseuse Pinot Noir. Lunch at Tap w S&L DiM and P&S Co. Can't go wrong with this wine. Lovely PN to enjoy with lunch on a hot summer day. — 10 years ago
2020 vintage. Investigating +-$20 red Bordeaux, part two. PNP. Some decent depth for the price. Medium body. Good concentration. A little, minty note amongst the chunk. Finish hangs in there for a spell. In this price range, would tap this again. 5.28.24. — 2 years ago
1985 Domaine Des Chezaux Griotte-Chambertin. Lunch at Tap while DS was visiting. He was super excited abt this wine. Exceptional. Didn’t decant. Drank straight away. — 8 years ago

Magnum 2006 Launois Pere et Fils Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne. Post bday lunch at Tap. Mimosas! Solid. — 10 years ago
Magnum 2008 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. Dinner at Tap w S&L DiM and P&S Co. Super. Loved especially at Susie and Lydia- the Chardonnay lovers. Not overly oaky- just rich and oaky enough to know it's a CA Chardonnay, but not so much that it's buttery and too rich in oakiness. Enjoyed. — 10 years ago
Love this wine. Would have a keg on tap, if possible. Perfect combo of lightness supported with a solid skeleton and sinewy muscle. Dusty red fruits with a bit of grip. Pleasing in the most positive meaning of the word. — 6 years ago
1990 DRC Richebourg. Lunch at Tap while DS was visiting. Drank this side by side to the 1985 Griotte-Chambertin. Hard to pick a fave- they were very different. This one had much more fruit and texture to it and I might have favored it slightly. — 8 years ago
Espectacular! — 8 years ago
Kleos in PVD has this on tap! Smooth, with dark berry, firm tannins and tobacco — 9 years ago

1963 Fonseca Vintage Port. D fam dinner at Tap. It was very tight when we first poured, but really opened up. Was completely different 30 min later and again 1.5 hours later. Really enjoyed, but noted to give some air before drinking next time. — 10 years ago
Magnum 2015 Domaine De L'Abbeye Clos Beylesse Rosè. Lunch at Tap w S&L DiM and P&S Co. — 10 years ago

This was my rating 6 years ago. A perfect 10. Now, I’d say (and thanks Spinal Tap) an 11! Thanks Lenny for an awesome dinner:
The nose immediately established this CDP as royalty, and the palate followed accordingly. Silky smooth, big and round. Black fruit, Asian spice, black truffles. Pure as heck, layered with so much going on while your nostrils are sending your brain unseen before signals of red flowers, bacon frying and fairy dust. Should not have been better than the ‘01 but it was unanimous winner blind. — a year ago
