Vintage 2020 | Nykteri is the word for ‘staying up whole night’ in the local language. Santorini vintners harvest in the morning and press the grapes during night. Made of Assyrtiko, Athiri and Aidani grapes. Absolute very mineral. Very compelling wine that matured in barrels for three months. We drank it with shrimps dim sum and it made us happy. — a month ago
Bright and citrusy. Nice minerality without taking away the more subtle notes. It's one of my new favorites. — 3 months ago
The winery is the only one situated on the Cartizze Hill.
They only make Valdobbiadene Docg and Cartizze Docg.
Manula harvesting is the only option on these slopes, not like they do on the flatland of the Prosecco DOC.
That results in an intense and unique expression for every label, but we reach the epitome with Her Majesty Cartizze.
The only Cru around here.
The traditional Dry version(24 g sugar per litre) is absolutely textural and balanced by the mineral finish that hides completely the sweetness that you would expect.
Extremely long.
This is prosecco on steroids(does that sound good or bad??)

Medium garnet , quite a quite wide garnet rim . This is quite spiced on the nose with , some red cherries , spiced raspberries and sweet anise, liquorice, some notes dried herbal , black tea hints . On the palate this is medium bodied with quite high acidity , more spiced cherry , raspberry and herbal hints , with the sweet anise notes also . Not very long on the palate but quite well balanced . Spiced , sweet fruited profile, quite light in style for a Brunello. This is drinking well now and I wouldn’t leave it very much longer, no upside from here , enjoy over the next 3-4 years. Next day , showing a little more dried fruits and spice , anise , still hanging in there , but nothing to gain by keeping. — 16 days ago
