Wonderful Pinot. More complexity than an average Pinot. Enjoyed more than most pinots. Paired with roasted mushrooms with a basil aioli. — 8 months ago
Has the 2018 on July 1, 2023. Really big wine. This is a lot bigger body than I expected. Deep, dark reddish purple in color. Lots of pepper along with leather on the nose. Big dark fruits- blackberry, dark cherry and a bit of violet come next. Slightly herbal as it nears the end. Not very tannic on the finish with the amount of oak in this one. Oak on the nose just keeps going all the way through. Warming barrel character with hint of alcohol burn near the end. Enjoyed this one but was way bigger all the way around than our usuals. — 2 years ago

Outstanding blend. Great balance. Thoroughly enjoyed with Musakhan Roasted Eggplant and tomato risotto at Davis Estate. — 8 months ago
Nice balance for an RRV rhône blend. Lots of fun layers and spice. Certainly shows some oak but not obnoxious and with a few more years of integration, should be really nice. — 2 years ago

Scott@Mister A’s-San Diego
2021 vintage. 14.1% ABV and 619 cases made. Medium-medium/heavy body. Chilled down and traced as it warmed up. Immediate spearmint nose off the starboard bow along with currant and Fudgsicle. These all dropped in and acted out in the flavor profile with ripe plum and some dark chocolate notes. Pretty close to a PNP but decant or give an hour after opening if possible. The chill down was huge and found this effort with ample but integrated (already!!) tannins. About as close to a 9.4 as it could get. In 6 months? Very likely. Super delicious and affordable for great Napa cab. 05.02.25. — 21 days ago
