Vintage 2022 | Fresh, saline, minerals. Aligoté is confusing to recognize when tasting blind, it can also be rather meager. But this Aligoté is textbook: fine citrus in smell, tones of Granny Smith in first sips, very very vibrant and juicy. You long to a new sip of the wine. Paired with Asian yaki udon with pointed cabbage, oystermushrooms, bacon strips and a viscous sauce in which I added a bit saké. — 9 months ago
Block, purchased at Bolster Moor Farm Shop - tastes delicious — a month ago
I struggled with this one blind, bright and lemony but round and a little nutty in the middle, an excellent Aligote but I’m more used to the more natty De Moor style. — a year ago
lacks the precision and riesling-like tension i've come to associate w de moor but who cares—this shit was so much fun. blend of SB, chard and skin contact aligoté. i imagine everything that was left over after harvest? super expressive, ripe, and nutty with plenty of acid to keep everything in check. what's not to love? — a year ago
