Hard to put down. With oysters and blue fin — 6 years ago
Funky, slightly earthy, natural nose, with hints of grass clippings, overripe yellow citrus, mushroom and maybe even a hint of butterscotch. Color of a lightly deep, golden hue, like yellow gold, medium bodied but surprisingly the palate is like a dry Normandie cider! Crisp, fresh, and dry, with some tingly funk, and then something like acidity or minerality emerging to the edges, with a nutty apple cinnamon like finish. — 5 months ago
Block, purchased at Bolster Moor Farm Shop - tastes delicious — 7 months ago
I struggled with this one blind, bright and lemony but round and a little nutty in the middle, an excellent Aligote but I’m more used to the more natty De Moor style. — 2 years ago
Wine #2 Vinul Moldovei Vol. 1.
This wine is named after the protagonist of the Story of Harap Alb. And what a fitting name it is! White Moor, white made from black grapes (Cabernet Sauvignon and Fetească Neagră). Almost colourless, it offers charming (hehe, Făt-Frumos) notes of melon, pear candy, wet stones and green apples. Not overly complex, but delicate, well-balanced and mineral. It's fresh with gentle and well-integrated oak (2 months with bâtonnage).
Not sure if it makes sense to age it, but it's a wonderful choice for a hot summer evening or to pair with oysters.

Pale lemon/gold color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits, floral and slight oxidative notes. On the palate flavors of ripe apple, apricot and lemon citrus with notes of white flowers and spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity ending with fruit and oxidative mineral character. — 5 months ago

Amazing Christmas dinner at MOOR with Sonia and Liam! — 6 years ago
2020 spring / summer. Really nice - I hadn’t had any de Moor in a while but this was at least as good as I remembered. Honeyed and savory, lots of chalky minerals — 6 years ago
