Decant and pour. An amazing still dark garnet with bricking. On the nose: subtle notes of dark fruit, worn leather, herbaceous, pencil shavings, mint. Taste: savory, silky, elegant wine with some dried cherry/red plum, currants, tobacco, spice, earth, coffee grounds and a medium plus finish. YUM!!! Drinking beautifully for its age on this rain for an hour cool afternoon in Napa. — 4 months ago

Apparently one of the oldest Distillery sites in Scotland. Located by the sea on the Isle of Islay this receives the slowest distillation of any Islay malt, then spends 16 years in old oak casks before being bottled. This is very pungent, peaty and smoky. One of my favourite single malts. — 5 months ago

Still has a great punch after all this time. Smooth and a little spicy. Loved it. — 9 months ago

Big, dark yummy Cab. Schroeder does a great job bringing this alive - jammy with soft tannins, not as velvety as I would like but soft enough! App isn’t allowing location - had at Steak48 — 3 months ago
