Good, easy weeknight wine — 5 years ago
yes, this is a photo of a computer image. tasted as part of a Mourvèdre wine group tasting via zoom, wines portioned into woozies. 2018v. super aromatic, raspberry/cranberry juice, fresh leather, violet. palate texture is silky, light but complex and flavorful, acid medium +, long tannins- just a bit of grip. fantastic — 5 years ago
It’s picked up a little nuttiness to go with the fruit, minerals, and bright acidity. The acid is prominent enough on the finish that it is ever so slightly disjointed but still enjoyable. — 2 years ago
OMG! Lean and sharp as a light-saber. The wine is med brick in the glass… light and lively in the mouth. It dances across your palate. Caressing all the corners and crevices. A dichotomy of lightness in weight snd power in black fruited ripeness. Way too young but great with baby portobellos and dry aged prime rib from Publican Meats…Covid Christmas II sucks apart from family, but we’re spoiling ourselves… successfully as it happens. Life’s too damn short to drink shit wine…,Cheers! — 4 years ago

Tasted blind, from two combined bottles. Yellow gold. Dirty lemon nose. Notes of lemon creme, wet stones, some dirt, some marzipan and vanilla, and a little honeysuckle. Rich in the mouth. Good structure with softened acidity. The unique nose of Niellon is easy to identify... Guessed 86 Batard. Great juice. — 6 years ago
Notes of strawberry and red berries, but not as sweet as some rosés. Provençal style. Crisp and clean. — 6 years ago
Wow, French Laundry Schramsberg. Excellent! — 5 years ago
Drank over ice, wasn’t mad. Good structure. Juicy mouthfeel. — 6 years ago
Citrus, apple, faint grass. Nice minerality. Thought this would have more acid. Rounded. — 6 years ago

2017! Outstanding wine. Tasting great. So fresh but with some darker fruits. Stone, earth. So glad I was able to find some bottles to bring back the dirty and rowdy magic. Great wine — 4 months ago
