The nose is starting to strut with scents of apple , brioche and nuts.That first taste still makes you recoil and salivate. Lemons , limes , biscuits, and a touch of butterscotch. Very long finish . A single vineyard Rioja without aging classification, this is a classy Rioja in modern style. Deep and layered nose of plum, blackberry, cassis, licorice, cigar box, cocoa, and hint of smoked meat. Full elegant body. Nicely integrated oak even at this young age. Supple tannins.
