Bonnes Mares Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2015

(En Magnum)…One to live forever, but with proper aeration it’s plenty giving, perfumed and seductive with a powerful, vibrant and structured palate with killer Grand Cru density and stunning length that seemingly never dissipates. For the long haul! — 10 days ago

Les Amoureuses Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2011

Beautiful wine, but for its value it’ll leave you wanting. While I love the vintage for the Domaine as I believe it provides a good balance to the style, this bottle was a bit thin on the palate. I wonder if decanting would have helped it gain some weight. — 5 months ago

First try at this case. Very nice nose of forest floor, mushrooms, great acidity. For me the wine is a bit thin and given its pedigree I a quite frankly a bit disappointed. — a year ago
