Great aroma. Spice, wood shavings, richer and denser than the 2024s, more round and generous, but still with energy. This has a broader frame and real depth. Big step up in volume and presence. — 2 months ago
lovely and deeply fruited nose but also very mineral under all that. Juicy and super concentrated, silky and sweet but youngest of all the wines and very very mineral finish. Needs maybe 3-7 years. very delicate — 3 years ago
2022/9/6-7 with wagyu rump steak several ways, etc. This was fresher and less volatile than the bottle of 2015 I had just before it - and more reminiscent of that first, best bottle of 2019 Monthelie we had at Kamakura — 4 years ago
Bright citrus cherries, tabaco, earthy, cranberries, roses. — 5 years ago
Gorgeous and opulent nose of dark cherries, mid season cherries, lovely fresh wet earth, penetrating minerality, decaying leaves and more. Stunning nose. 9.5 nose. Not that complex but so pure and precise. Palate is so juicy and ripe with gorgeous cherry fruit and epic cleansing acidity and terrific freshness. Cuts a swath across the palate Nose starts to get a lipstick like intensity after it airs out. Terrific tannins that are ripe and juicy. Really great energy here and length. Just a terrific value. — 2 years ago
2023/1/1. Rich country Burgundy — 3 years ago
Little kiss of wood, sea air, mineral and finesse. Rich but energetic, sappy and very pure. This has that Boussey thing where the wine feels generous without losing its line. Delicious, clean, and seriously drinkable. — 2 months ago
