Cranberry. Tea. Falling baked cherry. Easy to drink! — 4 months ago
We had two bottles and they were both in a really good place. Enjoyed with Beef Bourguignon at Elkstone Ranch in Steamboat Springs. Excellent 7 course farm to table dinner! — 7 months ago
Louis Jadot negociant, I guess for WineBid? Pretty average Burgundy, decent fruit but overly acidic/sparkly early, wooden late, and turned sour after being open awhile — 4 years ago

Hospices de Beaune Cuvées are aged (raised) by various Negociants, in this case the highly accredited Australian winemaker, Jane Eyre. The nose is a little closed initially. Might have been opened a little early in its drinking window. The palate shows ripe red fruits (cherry) reflecting the warmer vintage. See previous Delectable note. The following night a peppery note. Luckily I have 3 left. Hopefully this will open up in the next few years and gain some complexity. — 6 months ago
Lovely wine from patriarche — a year ago
Tom Casagrande
Intense but way softer and fruitier than expected, likely due to vintage conditions. Intensely mineral on the nose but vying for primacy with copious amount of deep orchard fruit (greengage?). Rich and intense in the mouth. Lowish acids. Very very good but seemingly atypical (or maybe this is global warming typical). — 6 days ago
