Lovely wine, although not as refined as the Cab Sauv. Improved markedly a day after opening. Great value. — 4 months ago

Nice Ruby color with an array of fruit, floral and spice aromas. On the palate cherry, currant and raspberry flavors with some fresh cinnamon and smoky oak notes. Vibrant acidity, elegant fine tannins, well balanced just starting to wake up, long finish ending with slight earthy mineral notes, plenty of depth, will continue to develop. Nice! — 2 years ago

Another great Champagne selection from one of my favorite shops, MCF Rare Wine. 70% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Meunier. Only 1670 cases per year. Lively acid, bubbles, texture and nuanced apple and citrus fruit under the dryness. For a very good price too. Beats many known producers with inflated price tags. — a year ago
Was so surprised at this one! Got it for a friend who loves Cab but is going to the Loire Valley and I wanted to show her a good expression of the reds from that region. Was delicious - easy to drink on its own or with food. Already bought a second bottle! $22. — 3 months ago
Ceccherini Cristiano
Premier Cru Vaucopin
Cooler exposure for this vineyard compared to Fourchame that is richer
This is perhaps more elegant
22 being a warmer vintage Vaucopin benefits from it
