Crisp. Bought at Enoteca for ¥6,050. — 6 months ago
Fine and attractive, has a lovely approachability in its supple fruit, pliant tannin, and ripe texture. Despite the vintage character, there’s nice balance here with good freshness and aromatics. Black cherry, slightly roasted, plum, spicecake, sweet meat, sous bois, wilted flowers, balsam, rosemary and licorice. Minimal racking, probably a fine call for ‘18 — a year ago
Very nice Bourgogne with excellent flavors and balance. Had with Ann’s birthday dinner. — 3 years ago
Yum. Leftover still great after two weeks away, in Cali bottle that EW forgot to bring Nextdoor. — 7 months ago
