Not bad at all. Dry but quite a lot of berry and melon flavors. Long finish. First Cab/Merlot rosé? — 2 years ago

Not familiar with this producer. Really pleasant red blend. Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (30%) and Sangiovese (10%). New World in style. The plushness of the Merlot really shows through but the density of the Cabernet and the acidity of the Sangiovese keeps the wine extremely well balanced. Deep ruby color. Aromas and flavors of sweet red and black fruit are complimented by pleasant notes of vanilla, baking spices, tobacco and just a hint of green pepper. Finish is full but just a little short. Otherwise, everything else comes together well. Nice compliment to our take out pasta. — 4 years ago
Medium bodied, dry. Affordable greek cabernet sauvignon — 5 years ago
Smooth and rich. Plums, black cherry, licorice, coffee. Great black cherry finish. — 7 years ago

Funky Greek red. Sour cherry, raspberry, plenty of acid and earthiness. Very old world, spicy, pairs well with BBQ when chilled a little bit. — a year ago
$10.79-Total Wine 5/31/24.

After the Sicilian off dry white which I drank only a glass of in disappointment, I decided to open something I knew would make me happy. We are watching Dunkirk while drinking this wine and the contrast between the on-screen drama and the funky liveliness in the glass is stunning!
As usual the nose is a bit funky at fist and takes a good 20 to 30 minutes to set into place. Then it's violet, blueberry, clay, that iron thing too, which I always smell in this cuvée, no matter the vintage. The palate is big, bright and fruity. There are blueberry notes all along, some cherry too. Some width, a nice and soft mouthfeel, some tannins in the rear, and a really nice anf long finish with fruits, some pepper, and a nice tannic layer. There is a subtle savory note too, almost meaty, that makes it more complex than you would have bet at first. Of course this is, as always, a very biased review, but I mean, what's not to like there? — 2 years ago
Шикарный аромат, бочка отдала всё. Ваниль, миро, воск, мед. Далее цитрусы, разлом абрикоса. Полный вкус, аккуратно, мощно, с претензией. — 7 years ago
Nice Syrah with mellow tannins. Legitimately an 89 pts wine, but deserves a little more on a rooftop restaurant with views across Athens in the summer heat. Pure bliss. — a year ago
From a lesser known “produttori” in Piemonte. Cantina Produttori Nebbiolo di Carema (what a mouthful) is a tiny cooperative in, you guessed it, Carema.
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of two days. Fairly consistent throughout but I think I preferred the energy on Day 1. The 2016 Riserva pours a pale garnet with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity and no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of pomegranate, slightly bruised strawberry, toe jam (yeah, well…I’m not wrong), alpine herbs, roses some balsamico and rocky earth. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ tannins and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and saline with a silky texture. Until now, my only experience with the Carema DOC has been with Ferrando’s Etichetta Bianca and Etichetta Nera. While this bottle didn’t have the same drama as those wines from Ferrando, this was a very good example of Carema. Drink now and through 2031. — 2 years ago
Simple but nice. Clean palette. Not too acidic. Went well with Greek food. — 3 years ago
Really nice. Light, strawberry, w grapefruit, grapefruit pith, watermelon. Refreshing, perfect summer drinking — 4 years ago
Clear clean and slightly crisp. Passion fruit of the Sauv Blanc on the aroma without the over done gooseberry flavors. Dry with mineral and acid brightness. — 5 years ago
My COVID19 f.... the virus 🦠 mid week treat. Textbook. Anise first - tannins mostly resolved. A great wine no rusticity. Dried Raspberry mushrooms chanterelles - actually. A beautiful wine. After this drama is over I will have to stock up. It’s nice to drink alone but I am also sad I can not share some of these beauties. — 6 years ago
