Deep Ruby color, purple edges, with aromas of dark fruits, spice, floral and earthy notes, aged 13 months, somewhat evenly split between new, 1, 2 & 3 year old oak. On the palate flavors of wild blackberries and raspberry with smoky spice, vanilla and black pepper notes wrapped in lively acidity. Fine sweet tannins, long finish, great structure ending with fruit, spice and slight earthy tones. Drinks well now, will last a decade. — 3 days ago
