Pronounced “Es-peck-tuckle dell Mont-sunt.” Located in so-called armpit of Spain’s prestigious wine country principally because of its rustic quality. Deep Ruby with intense fruit aromas and sweet floral spice, aged 15 mos in French oak, from a warm dry vintage. On the palate flavors of blackberry, plum and raspberry with currants, sweet cacao, floral & pepper spice. Fine big tannins, well balanced with long finish finesse, ending with herb and spice, adding slight alcohol warmth. — 4 years ago

Im offenausschank und vorher noch auf delectable gecheckt. Bei den noten dachte ich erst dass es nicht ganz der gleiche wein von diesem produzenten sein kann. Nach dem zweiten schluck allerdings schon! Wow! Einfach wow! Feinfruchtig, weisse blüten, birnen, etwas minze, im gaumen weich, rund, südfrüchtig mit leichter mineralität. Hut ab! — 8 months ago
