On the palate: fantastic acidity, crushed herbs, wild strawberry, crushed seeds, spice...soft tannin on the fantastically elegant finish. Young, but so much complexity and elegance. Pop and pour. The nose...just enrapturing. Soft coffee and coconut notes, bright raspberry, ripe wild strawberry, herbal notes, savory notes...amazing complexity. On the palate, lovely acidity, a touch of bitter medicine, earth and tree bark, then red raspberry, pepper. Medium bodied, and soft but very finely grained tannin on the finish. Medium light garnet , wide garnet rim . Quite open from the off , red cherry , rose , red currant , raspberry , a touch of smoky oak, after a while a little deeper fruit . On the palate this has quite sweet strawberry , raspberry , red currant but with good acidity , rounded on the palate but with quite gritty tannins , with saline hints on the spiced cherry tinged finish . This is still pretty young and needs a little more time , maybe 2-4 more years , and will last a further 5-8. — 9 months ago
