@Tom Casagrande, actually Sacramento, near the airport, is one of the largest sources of caviar (and of course sturgeon) in the U.S., so it’s relatively cheap and also plentiful year round here — I just indirect grill it, and my wife may put a simple lemon butter sauce on it.

Beautiful Chenin Blanc. This wine needs at least 45 minutes to open up. Once it does it is so good. Complex flavor profile with slight oxidative notes, tropical fruit, and a flowery nose. — 7 months ago
