Very good value for money a great wine. Had it with lemon pasta and the pairing was a great hit. Make sure too drink it at room temperature to get the full benefit of this wine. I had it a bit too cold which closed it up a little, but have also had it at the right temperature and then it even works well on its own. Lots of berries and very well rounded wine, seldome found at this pricepoint. — 3 years ago

Artesana is a small production, low intervention, terroir-driven producer of beautiful Uruguayan wines. 🙌🙌 🇺🇾
This wine was made from grapes grown on estate vineyards, harvested by hand, with sustainable farming practices. 🍇🍇
It is a deep ruby hue, offering concentrated aromas and flavors of tart black cherry, black currant, plum, nutmeg, cedar, anise, pepper, vegetal and green notes, alongside meaty characteristics.
It is balanced with good fruit concentration, refreshing acidity, high alcohol (14%), and soft tannins.
It’s comprised of Cabernet Franc (55%) and Merlot (45%) from the region of Canelones, Uruguay.
Acclaimed female winemakers Analía Lazaneo and Valentina Gatti have left us inspired and excited to try more from Artesana.

The best white wine in the world. Chardonnay Langhe. With Paolo and Valentina, and my son Davide. Memorable — a year ago
Outstanding balance. New and old world. Great fruit with baking spice, some tobacco, excellent tannin, and lingers on the palate. I hope this is what Idaho Bordeaux style continues to produce. Well done! — 3 years ago
A bit of funk, ligh bodied, but more depth than just juice. A good freshness, and energetic. Lovely — 4 years ago

Montepulciano is a great pizza wine, and this entry- level wine from La Valentina is just the ticket. At only 13.5 and $17,I could drink it all night. Used the pizza oven in 15 degrees, but it was worth it! Lots of fruit- brambles and cherry, hint of lavender. Really satisfying. Maybe Muddy Waters ‘ can’t be satisfied’, but I can. Cheaply! — 5 days ago
