Juicy and seamless in texture, showing good depth and a subtle floral quality that emerges with air. Fill was 3 inches below the cork, which was soaked and mouldy and fell into the bottle as soon as Mr. Durand touched it.. 😳
Yet…. Still fresh as a daisy! Healthy golden colour with a copper tinge. Elegantly fruited and flowered, slatey and saline minerality. Off-dry medium-bodied palate. A wine with a distinguished personality, really self-assured and completely at ease. — 6 months ago

Classically styled and balanced. Very reminiscent of Spottswoode’s SB. Floral with tart fruit and medium acidity. Lots of lemon-lime here but also melon. Crushed rocks. Vibrant. — 7 years ago
