Pretty intense for a Cab Franc, but I loved it. Bonnie found it a bit harsh. — 3 months ago
1hr+ decant. Dark purple color. Dark fruit and cough medicine, with hints of prunes and baking spices on the nose. Cough medicine and more alcohol than I expected on the palate. Zero oak and lacks structure. Medium depth and the wine really coates the palate and sticks to your teeth. Medium plus finish. Good, just not my style.
Downgrading from 93 as this has become very harsh in the palate and fruit is gone. — 10 months ago
Simply delectable. Such a full flavor and on the dry end for a Pinot noir. My wife and I loved — 2 months ago
This is what Merlot should taste like, and Clark knows how to make it happen. — 2 months ago
Clark is really good at making Chardonnay that ages well. — 3 months ago
Picnic with soraya and Danny and kalen and Hugo, kalen told the birth story and we had lots of conservas and some very nice cheese and Clark street bread. Very nice, went great with conserva. Need more! This was a wing hop fung bargain table score. — 2 years ago
High acidity, very dry. It’s earthy, menthol with dark fruit and leather. — 2 months ago
I don’t think of Clark Smith as a Pinot Noir kind of guy, but I knew he made wines that age. This was no exception, nothing short of sensational. — 2 months ago
Maybe the best burgundy I’ve had. Garnet with some opacity, wonderfully matured and balanced acidity, red cherries, leather and licorice, some hints of vanilla coming through with aeration. Love this! — 8 months ago

What a wonderful wine!!! We enjoyed it with a surf/turf dinner (steak & scallops). It was full bodied enough to go along with steak while remaining light enough so it didn’t overwhelm the scallops… — a month ago
