Usually this wine needs some airtime to come into its own but this one was great

Good stone fruits and a bit of pineapple. Sweetness and oak without any sugar.

Last time I had one of these was 4 years ago in November 2017. Similar tasting note without the petillance. A very good quaffing dry German Riesling (12.5%ABV). Slatey minerality with yellow peachy notes. Tasted another 18 weeks later on 5th May 2022. Nothing to write home about to be honest. Just a good dry German Riesling quaffer. Notes as above. 88 points. Tasted another one on 28th November 2022 with consistent notes as above. — 5 years ago

Wow, medium yellow color, very nice floral apricot honeyed with just a hint of that petrol underneath, with a light lithe texture into a bit more acidic finish. 8% ABV. Must have aged well since last time, last one unfortunately — 6 months ago

Nose: bright. Lovely. White and yellow flowers. Pink grapefruit.

Palate: on the sweet side. Nice peach. Solid. Mountain stream. Sort of lovely if not not brilliant.

By the glass. Barb said aromas of Fairy Floss. (Aussies who have been to rural Agricultural Shows will be familiar with Fairy Floss - a sugary whipped confection). Also a note of Lemon and petrol, but oh so young - yet to display its potential. One of the least sweet Ausleses I have ever had. Great refreshment and lively acid. — 7 years ago
