Colour is very pale with just the lightest hint of coral pink. It’s off-dry with lots of ripe tropical fruits on the noise and palate - cantaloupe, peach, and a hint of floral. It’s a very interesting blend of grapes. — 7 months ago
Exotic and funky. Good rich dark fruity wine. — 3 years ago

Probably about at the end of this 2009 unless you super carefully store it. But it's very interesting, Dark toffee, caramel, kind of Madeira type notes. — 4 months ago

Beautiful zin with full, silky body. Black and red fruits, plum, and fingers with smooth tannins. Great wine. — 5 months ago
At Mark Paul NYD Party old Cab series. Continuing with old Cab series. Equally surprising as the McDowell but a totally different profile, with more oxidative notes as expected for such an age and with rounder texture and shorter finish — 7 months ago

This is a delicious Zinfandel from Oakville in Napa Valley. Rich, fruit forward and entertaining. Elegant and interesting.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime. The high alcohol is not too noticeable at this point.
Right out of the bottle it feels like a light Napa Cabernet, but gets into its own after 2 hours in the decanter, when more red fruits show up, and it feels more like a Zinfandel. So interesting.
This Single Vineyard Zinfandel is easy drinking and a great sipping wine. A good party wine too.
