Le Rocche del Falletto di Serralunga d'Alba Barolo Nebbiolo 1999

Mature but still with legs. Earthy, mushrooms, weighty. Solid but a bit underperforming for me. — 6 days ago

Le Rocche del Falletto Barolo Nebbiolo 2005

Medium garnet , wide light garnet rim. Touch volatile at first , high toned summer fruits , but with more time this becomes more focused with porcini, cedar , aromatic black tea , orange rind . On the palate this is really still very fruit driven , with lots of summer fruits , strawberry , blackberry , spiced dark cherries, beef extract , liquorice and dried rose . Balanced acidity and still quite present gritty tannin . This is still showing quite young and fruit driven , enjoyable and really good now , will no doubt have a long life ahead , from now and over the next 10 - 15 years . — a month ago

Barolo Nebbiolo 2001

The 9.3 here is exactly right in 01 Giacosa hit it out of the park with every bottling. The base Barolo is amazing. — 21 days ago

Asili Riserva Barbaresco Nebbiolo 1996

Was honestly a bit disappointed this relative to some other wines from him. Ie was excellent out of the bottle but I think it might have gotten over decanted 4 hrs post opening. Surprisingly I liked the 1996 Barolo from him better — 4 months ago

Bussia Barolo Nebbiolo 2018

Rich red in color with medium plus intensity.

Fruit forward on the nose with red fruits and light oak.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing red cherries, raspberries, herbs, coffee, light oak, chocolates and peppercorn.

Nice finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 7 year old Barolo is already drinking very nicely, but still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.

Spicy and entertaining. Easy drinking and engaging. Elegant with good structure.

Nicely balanced and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.

100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in large oak barrels for 3 years.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$60.
