Munari

Ladys Pass Shiraz 2009

Deep red/black color with a thin garnet meniscus. Aromas of petroleum (in a good way), ripe and dried black fruit, dried violets, leather and cedar. Flavors of graphite/iron, dried blackberries, black currants, smoked meat, dried blueberries, tobacco and Asian spices. Hint of black pepper on the long and drawn out finish. Soft tannins and well balanced acidity. Medium bodied, rich and plush. Extremely savory and best with food. Well aged bottle. It was time to enjoy it. Appreciate the gift, Mark S! — 4 days ago

Mail Coach Shiraz 2009

With four moves across three jurisdictions this wine was well travelled, and, it would be fair to say has travelled exceptionally well. It’s rich with mint and cigar notes across a palate that was long! Wish I had bought more — 7 months ago

Cravens Place Heatcote Shiraz 2023

Very smooth with just a subtle kick at the end. Blackcurrants notes with more berry on the palate. Solid drink. — 8 months ago

The Springs Heathcote Syrah 2017

Ruby core with a garnet/brick rim. Intense aromas of black olives, burnt rubber, asphalt, violets and mint. Black olive tapenade for days on the palate with additional notes of balsamic vinegar, blueberry and tobacco. Loaded with VA. Pleasant oily (animal fat) texture. Extremely long finish. Medium in body but high in intensity! Only 12% ABV. Totally unique and delicious! Thank you so much for sharing, Kase! — 2 years ago
