Didn’t like this one as much as the first I had. This was more fruit forward with a ton of funk and acidity. After a few hours it was better but given the high amount of acidity and fruit I’m not sure it’ll get better. Reminds me of a good carbonic Grenache or other rhone varietal. This is so freaking good! Grenache white pepper, dark fruits, spices galore, some forest, a touch of meat, but so fresh despite 6 years. This reminds me of pax hillsides with a bit less tapenade. I feel like this wine, tribute to grace, Jolie laude, and pax are the best representations of Grenache in USA — 5 months ago
