Light and crisp for a feisty and ever so slight aggressive sibling lashing, but also heavy and dense for Mario coin world battle of dominance. — 6 years ago
Perfect condition. Incredible persistence on the palate. Lovely wine. Recommend. — 6 years ago
Poor vintage BUT no Garamond or Hommage released so all the quality grapes into this wine. Very pale color but the bouquet displayed loads of fruit and spice. Delightful Pinot qualities on the palate with bright acidity and sappy tannin. Lovely! — 4 years ago

Very nice Alsace selection from Cynthia Hurley — 6 years ago
Ooh this is a nice #pasoroblescab . Medium body, expressive fruit with a nice jammy nose. I can see why @Shannon Hurley compares this to Italian reds, with the layers of spice and earth. The tannins are thick but sophisticated. I can imagine this with a Gorgonzola topped steak. — 7 years ago
pale peach color; nectarine, tangerine, orange peel; tart stone fruits, bit of phenolics; light bodied, dry, very fresh, only 11.5% ABV; blend of 44% Syrah, 26% Grenache, 25% Mourvèdre, and 5% Counoise with fruit primarily from Windmill Vineyard in Dunnigan Hills AVA in Yolo County with additional Syrah from Hurley Vineyard in Napa Valley; fruit picked early in July, whole-cluster pressed then fermented and aged on the lees in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation; $22 — 5 years ago
Would be quite lovely if it wasn’t so hot, but even at 14.5 its well poised. — 6 years ago

A surprise blind tasting at the end of our meal at Guy Savoy. The somm Andrew Hurley (merci beaucoup!!) blinded me on this one boy was I so wrong! Orange blossom, walnut paste, saffron, ginger candy, cinnamon, nutmeg, fig, etc. etc. And yet so fresh! Great acidity. Great balance despite >400g/L RS. I thought it was like maybe 1976. Oh boy I was 76 years off! Such a treat. This is probably the oldest wine I’ve ever had. — a year ago
