This is a rich, powerful, balanced wine. Ripe red and black fruit core with a nice background presence of fresh jalapeño, barrel spice, and black licorice. Tannins are silky and refined. — 4 months ago
At Mark Paul NYD Party old Cab series. Continuing with old Cab series. Equally surprising as the McDowell but a totally different profile, with more oxidative notes as expected for such an age and with rounder texture and shorter finish — 5 months ago
Ok. Might need more air that I gave. — a month ago
Great as always but I am going to age the other remaining for a couple of years, great mix of minerality , acid and cream mouthfeel. Get the lemon custard and some other white stone fruit — 2 months ago
Tasting great. Classic knights valley. Big fruit, oak, balanced. — 4 months ago
Fruit forward. Bright, fresh and fleshy. Coffee, chocolate and dark fruit on the nose. Well balanced structure with excellent acidity on the palate — 2 months ago
Weeknight treat. Medium body, creme brulee on nose and some custardy finish but great acid. Just so many great things to love in this chardonnay. I still prefer Ma Belle Fille — 4 months ago
Colour is very pale with just the lightest hint of coral pink. It’s off-dry with lots of ripe tropical fruits on the noise and palate - cantaloupe, peach, and a hint of floral. It’s a very interesting blend of grapes. — 4 months ago

Seems to have lost a little crispness over 5-1/2 years but still quite good with long finish — a day ago
