Sablé Brut Rosé 1er Cru Rosé Champagne Blend 2014

Just ripe slightly green strawberries on the nose, crushed limestone, red baking apple, so mineral, a hint of butter. Acid wash on the tongue. Finish lingers and lingers. Killer bubbles. Aubry always delivers. — 3 years ago

Corbières L’Ile aux Cabanes Carignan Grenache 2018

A gorgeous red blend from Languedoc.
Nose bursting with black fruit ripeness, some garrigue and a fresh minty-rosemary whiff. Fresh & enticing, zero jammy notes.
The surprise comes on the palate. Beautifully polished and elegant, silky tannins and fresh acidity. All perfectly balanced & integrated. Very different from the usual chunky, rustic big reds from the South. So elegant. So smooth. Great freshness, too.

Savigny-lés-Beaune Pinot Noir 2002

Oak. 30 minutes, it started waking up. Matured. 2 hours, aroma changed into oily and sweet. @3686, Raku - JH, 190119-190208 — 5 years ago
