Smells like a brioche roll fresh out of the oven with the butter glistening on top, tastes bready with dry lemony acidity and lingering chalky minerals.

A stressful week came to a close with disappointing news. This wonderful champagnes consoles. Dark yellow color. Smells and tastes more mature than I expected from a 2012. This has a long finish and the closest I can describe the taste would be a Selosse. Not a champagne for everyone’s taste but I am glad I bought it and opened it tonight. Makes me feel much better — 3 years ago
Stunning zero dosage sparkling wine from the Loire Valley — this rivals most champagnes.
Pear, bruised apple, lemon, grapefruit, almond, oyster shells. A bit of yeastiness.
Perfectly balanced. — 3 months ago
Soapy rose petals with grapefruit zest and salinity, along with other notes. It is a beautifully hued and delicious expression of Gewurtztraminer. — 6 months ago

Quite deep , copper tinged lemon colour . Fine vigorous perlage. On the nose buttered pastry , chalk dust , red apple , cranberry , hints of lemon peel . On the palate good volume with some light red fruits , red currant and cranberry complementing the , chalk tinged , lemon hints . Medium bodied, quite fresh and linear, mineral tinged with decent length . Well made and gastronomic in style , this has enough body to go with a range of foods . Drink now — a month ago
