Had some shipped back from our trip to Sicily. This one is a stunner!!! Oh so good! — 2 years ago
Licorice, tiny hint of Jolly Rancher watermelon, oak paneled steakhouses, cigar smoke filled libraries, wood burning stoves. Having with steak and potatoes. One of my favs. — 3 months ago
Bright and balanced. Starts off slightly floral then we taste orange peels. Nice tannins at the end. — 9 months ago
On the nose the red fruits are a bit shy and overshadowed by the earthy and savory notes of black tea leaf, tobacco, tar, balsamic, and licorice. The flavor is much more balanced with sweet cherry leading the way. Medium body. Lively and delicate on the palate. Mellow dry tannins.

50%/50% Nero d’Avola and Perricone. Very good! Previous bottle was clearly flawed — a month ago
