LoireTasting #2 - chenin serie
Dry and mineral, the silica soil brings a less vivid character than other versions of the Chenin, but brings a consistent material and a certain roundness, on smoky notes, gun stone, honey, gingerbread, and vegetable. Franc final. Interesting approach to nature. Certainly very good on white meat.
Sec et minéral, le sol de silice apporte un caractère moins vif que d’autres version du Chenin, mais apporte une matière consistante et une certaine rondeur, sur des notes fumées, pierre à fusil, miel, pain d’épice, et végétal. Finale franche. Abord nature intéressant. Certainement très bon sur une viande blanche. — 2 years ago
Nice organic Croze, a little closed at first, but develops well during tasting. Floral notes and fruity first, mint-minhole herb touch in a second step, something between the mineral and the notes liquorice in the distance. Final a little frank but very correct overall. 3.7
3,7 — 3 years ago
Nez sur les épices douces, agrumes citrons, attaque franche, amers sur la finale apportant un équilibre sympathique. — a year ago
Some goji in the mix, and a little peat. Very particular moment. Would crush with curry — a year ago
Comte Tolosan Malbec from Lidl. Such great, sharp, fruity flavour that's not sweet. Almost perfect, just lacking that luxury. — 2 years ago
Rousette franche, fleurs et fruit (poire) sur une belle trame minérale. — a year ago
Surprising négoce wine by François de Nicolay of Chandon de Briailles, one of our favorite producers in Savigny-les-Beaune/Corton. This is 100% Chardonnay sourced from organic/biodynamic vineyards in the Coteaux de Champlitte, a little known appellation north of Jura, in the in the Franche-Comté department. Expressive nose. Vibrant, lovely nose of crisp green apple. Fresh, medium-bodied, mineral, great texture, good acidity — a year ago
Light. Love it. Theatre of wine — 3 years ago
Sagee Aran
A CS and Merlot blend from Franche corte. A humid forest nose, not a typical CS blend. Interesting.
Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon 30% - Cabernet Franc 25% - Merlot 40% - Barbera 5%.
Colour: ruby red.
Bouquet: intense, of unripe shrubs.
Taste: dry, elegantly savoury, moderately velvety, with a light aroma of blackberries and cherries. — 16 days ago
