This wine from Saxum is a great value — smooth, even fruit; great balance overall. 79% syrah, 7% petite sirah, 7% grenache, 5% mourvédre. 97 points from Robert Parker and $129 when I bought it from K&L although market looks more like $160 now. — 14 days ago
Really enjoyed this wine. Smooth and as others have said, fruit forward. — 12 days ago
Nose much more Intense than the palate. Oddly delicate. — 15 days ago
Popped and poured. The mouthfeel had rich, creamy lusciousness with gentle acidity. Baked apple with warm, autumn spices flooded the palette. Also had an underlying minerality that provided nice backbone. Long, fine finish. This was absolutely scrumptious. — 14 days ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Deep Ruby red color with aromas of black fruits, cedar and baking spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry with cola, floral and sweet cinnamon herb spice notes. Full-bodied, fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, toasty oak, herbs and a savory earthy mineral character. Nice! — 18 days ago
