Dried Roses, salted plum, kirsch, fennel, strawberry jam, black pepper, blood orange. Rosé but also not like any other rosé. Rich and inviting but also mineral and tense. Energetic and lovely all around. — 4 years ago

Grenache/Mourvèdre based rose with some additional Rhone varietals blended in. Bright garnet color. Aromas of black cherry, ripe plum and minerals. Sh-t. I mean. This starts inconspicuous but becomes more energetic with each day open. Coiled acid and melting taffy. Aching red fruit; dripping, swirling mineral dust. Subtly sweet, then unexpectedly dry, with a powdery texture. Worthy parallel to eg bandol rose, but even more acid. — 7 months ago
